A friend showed me a picture from the internet, which is called “Orrery Worlds” (look it up) and challenged me to see if I could paint it. The trick was to try to get the same “glow” feeling as the original. At first I really tried to copy the original, but after a while I made it my own, so you’ll see differences between the original and the painting.
As far as I can figure out, “orrery” refers to a computer generated model of how the planets move around the sun. But the weird thing is that a man in the 1700s came up with the idea. So, go figure!😊
