Acrylic on Canvas 19.5x39.5 inches
April 2012 SOLD/PRIVATE COLLECTION
This tree, situatied on the old Hwy 18 in Leamington, Ontario, is a favourite of many who drive past it. I finally knocked on the door and discovered what kind of tree it is. It has an interresting history that begins in the 1840s at Camperdown Estate in Scotland. When I was up close, I took many pictures of its distorted and twisted branches.
